Classes

Jacques’ Pottery Shop offers several types of classes; pottery wheel classes, paint-your-own-pottery classes, jewelry workshops, and birthday parties/events. Pottery Wheel classes are scheduled on Pottery Pop-Up days. Each Pop-Up day has several hour-long sessions that are available for booking. Paint-your-own-pottery classes and jewelry making classes are held by appointment on Tuesdays-Saturdays. Parties/events are scheduled upon request.

Booking: To book a class, either message Shelby through the “contact” tab or through Facebook or Instagram.

*Please note* you do not have to arrive to your class early. If you arrive early, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to start your class early. All classes are by appointment, so if there is another class in progress when you arrive, you will have to wait until the first class is finished before starting your class at the time that it is booked.

Payment: payment is due at the time of service. If for any reason payment is not provided at the time of service, student work will not be finished until it is paid for in full.

Pottery Wheel Classes:

Individual:
*$35 per artist for a one hour class
*Ages 5 and up
*Make as many pieces of pottery as you would like within your one-hour time slot
*No experience necessary!

2-4 Artists:
*$25 per artist for a one hour class
*Artists will alternate making pottery until the one-hour time slot is over
*No experience necessary!

5 or More Artists:
*$25 per artist
*Each artist makes one piece of pottery
*No experience necessary!

Paint-Your-Own-Pottery Classes:
*$12 per artist + price of pottery you choose
*Ages 5 and up
*Pottery prices range from $10 to $50 based on the size and design
*Class times vary for each artist, but are booked for one hour
*Unlimited paint colors
*Appointments available on Tuesdays-Saturdays
*All supplies included, just bring your imagination!

Jewelry Workshops:

*Ages 10 and up
*Each artist gets a slab of clay to cut shapes for earrings and necklaces
*Each piece of jewelry can be customized with textures and stamps and painted
*$25 per artist
*No experience necessary

Cancellation Policy:

If you need to cancel your class, please contact Shelby at Jacques’ Pottery Shop at least 24 hours in advance. No-shows and last minute cancellations will result in a Cancellation Fee of 50% of the cost of your class. Emergency situations and illnesses are exempt from the Cancellation Fee.
